It's been a busy few weeks for the new Siena Men's Basketball Coach, Jamion Christian. Since accepting the job with the Saints Christian has gotten married, gone on his Honeymoon, spoke at his introductory press conference and began recruiting. Good news is the recruiting seems to be going well with two recruits already agreeing to come to Siena.

Jalen Pickett a 6'4 180 pound guard committed after a two day visit to Siena and the Times Union Center. In an article in the Times Union Pickett said why he chose Siena:

“The coaches really made me feel welcome,’’ he said. “Going around looking at the facilities, looking at the rooms and the dorms, just a beautiful campus. Talking to some of the players, they let me know they’re ready to win. Everybody around seemed so excited for the season to come up. The fan base is going to be crazy and the coaches are just really pumped for this year. I’m excited.”

Pickett played AAU ball for the City Rocks program along with Shaker High School grad Sloan Seymour who also committed to play his college ball at Siena this week.
