Siena Saints Basketball Name New Broadcaster

The Siena Saints men's basketball program will have a new play by play broadcaster behind the microphone this season. A.J. Kanell has been officially announced as the Saints play by play broadcaster for this upcoming season. For the previous three seasons, Kanell has served as the voice of the Vermont Catamounts. Kanell is not new to the upstate New York region. Before his soon to be tenure in the capital region, Kanell served as a broadcaster in the Syracuse area during his time as a student at Syracuse University. Kanell graduated from Syracuse University in 2013. Siena Saints coach Jimmy Patsos  was an interview guest this week on Big Board Sports and will join Levack and Goz this Friday at 4pm. Coach Patsos will be previewing the upcoming season and more. The Siena Saints open up their 2016-2017 season this Sunday when they host the Cornell Big Red. Tipoff is set for 2pm at the Times Union Center.
