The scoring struggles of the Siena Saints continues as does the losing. Down by only a scant point, 39-38, with just over 12 minutes left the Saints managed just five points the rest of the way and lost big at St. Bonaventure, 58-43.

The Saints double-double machine O.D. Anosike didn't reach those lofty numbers finishing with just seven points while grabbing 14 rebounds.

Evan Hymes, who had led the team in scoring a handful of games this year, was held in check by the Bonnies defense, hitting just two shots from the field and finishing with only five points.

No matter the category you look at after this ballgame, Siena got worked. Free throws were dominated by the Bonnies by an 11 point margin. Turnovers, never a category you want to lead in, didn't go the Saints way either, losing that battle by 12 (17-5).

The victory upped the Bonnies record in the rugged Atlantic 10 to 5-2. Siena has now lost five straight and dropped to an ugly 2-7. Next up for the Saints will be a game against their first conference foe in Rider University on Friday night at home. Rider is 5-4 early in the season.
