For Siena basketball fans a form of midnight madness is returning. The school announced they will hold the event on Tuesday, October 16th starting, not at midnight, but rather 9 p.m.

The kickoff to the season event will be held on the UHY court in the Alumni Recreation Center.

Some of the fun to be had by all fans for the evening include free admission for all. That's not just students, but for all who want to come out and partake. Both the men's and women's teams will be introduced to the crowd. The cheerleaders will also perform.

The men's team will hold a slam dunk exhibition. Also, for all coming out there will be free pizza. Players from both teams will be doing the delivering to the fans. There will also be as of yet unannounced  giveaways. Men's PA announcer Scott Noel will serve as master of ceremonies.

One lucky student will get a half court shot and a chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate  to Crossgates mall. There are a number of other events happening that evening as well.

Both the men's and women's teams start their seasons on November 9th in a double header. The ladies play at 5:00 p.m. against Fairleigh Dickinson and the men tip off their year at 7:00 p.m. vs Vermont.
