The Siena men's basketball team built a 19-0 lead en route to a 79-69 win over Niagara on Thursday night at the Times Union Center.

The win moved the Saints to 6-8 overall, but 3-2 inside MAAC play.

Evan Hymes led a foursome of Saints in double-figures with 21 points on 9-10 shooting. Rob Poole had 17 points and nine rebounds while Marquis Wright went for 12 points and eight rebounds.

Lavon Long also contributed 14 points in the win.

Siena shot 53 percent for the game and also forced 14 Purple Eagle turnovers.

The Saints will play Fairfield at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Times Union Center.
