A great night for basketball in the Capital Region as the Siena and UAlbany men open up at major powers (Siena-Duke, UAlbany-Kentucky), but the Siena women's team also opens up its 2015-16 season tonight.

The Saints travel to St. Bonaventure in the WNIT looking to build off a 22-13 season that saw them advance to the final of the College Basketball Invitational (CBI).

Siena's season a year ago was the first winning season in the last 11 years for the program and the 22 wins were tied for the second best turnaround in all of Division I.

We brought in head coach Ali Jaques today to talk about the season ahead, realistic expectations, what getting to the CBI meant, how important it is to be healthy this year, preseason polls and the names we will be focusing on this season.

Siena was picked 5th in the preseason MAAC poll.
