I am guessing the Siena Saints like this winning thing. What was foreign to them just a week ago, is getting normal after Siena topped St. Peters Sunday at the TU center 66-53.

O.D. Anosike who has been up and down recently was up for Siena on this day, scoring 20 points including a rare solid day from the free throw line where he hit 12 of 17. Not bad for the 45% foul shooter.

Anosike wasn't alone on this Sunday getting help from Rakeem Brookins who notched 18 points and a new face emerges on the top of the scoring sheet. Guard Rich Audo came off the bench (he played 39 minutes) and scored nine points, including two huge three point shots in the second half.

Siena took a nice 13 point lead in the second half but the Peacocks sliced that deficit to a single bucket in the second half. However at 49-47 the Saints ran off eight straight points, including those threes from Audo to pull away and win the ballgame.

After losing 11 straight contests the Saints have reeled off two consecutive wins for the first time this year. They hope to keep the good felling and winning going when they hit the road for two games this week. the trip starts at Niagara Thursday and then make a stop on Saturday against woeful Marist. Right now Siena's record stands at 4-11.
