Siena Women’s Basketball Picked to Finish 3rd in MAAC

The MAAC released their preseason conference predictions and all league selections earlier today for women's basketball. The Siena Saints were predicted to finish third in conference play this season. Last season the Saints finished with a 10-10 overall record in conference play and a 14-18 record overall. The Saints led by Coach Ali Jacques finished twenty seven votes behind the preseason conference favorite Quinnipiac. The Siena Saints will be led this season by preseason first team all conference selection Kollyns Scarbrough. Scarbrogh, the 5'10' junior guard from Jamaica, New York, led the team in points, assists and steals last season. Jackie Benitez was the other Siena Saint who received preseason recognition. The 5'10' sophomore guard from Tobyhanna, Pennsylvania finished second on the team last season in points and steals. Below is the full list of the conference's preseason selections. The Saints tip off their season on the road November 14th against last season's national runner up Syracuse.
