Washington Nationals pitcher John Lannan tossed six-plus innings of one-run ball but ended up with a no-decision as the Nats defeated the Colorado Rockies on Sunday, 3-2.

The Siena College graduate struck out three, walked four and gave up six hits.  He allowed just two runners to reach third base.  Washington's Jason Werth broke the 2-2 tie in the 8th with an RBI single.

Lannan is now 8-7 on the season with a 3.56 ERA.

The veteran continues to plug away as he's given up three or less earned runs in 13 of his last 14 starts. Since May 27, he is 6-2 with a 2.61 ERA.
