Ryan Rossiter will become a professional basketball player after all.

The 2010-11 MAAC Player of the Year is headed to France.

Rossiter, who wasn't selected in the NBA Draft, will instead play for ASC Voltaire in Denain, France.

Last season, Rossiter averaged 18.7 points and 13.2 rebounds per game - which was second in the nation.  He finished his Siena career as the school's all-time leading rebounder with 1,151 boards.

Rossiter will be playing in the French Ligue Nationale de Basketball (LNB), the same league as former teammate Alex Franklin.

Rossiter was hoping to sign with an NBA team as a free agent and then play in the NBA Summer League but the current NBA lockout has put all league business on hold.  That forced Rossiter to make the decision to head overseas.
