The 73-year old Memory Gardens cemetery sits in one of the busiest areas in the Capital Region on Watervliet Shaker Road, minutes from the airport. The plot neighboring Memory Gardens could potentiality get sold to Afrim Nezaj, owner of Afrim Sports Inc.

In order for Nezaj to complete his purchase, Afrim Sports is seeking a variance for the property that's currently zoned for commercial and office buildings.

There are a lot of people in the area who are troubled by whether or not the soccer fields would interfere with the peaceful environment at beautiful Memory Gardens.
