Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees all say that "it is time" for the NFL lockout to end.  I really hope it didn't take all three of them to be able to come to this conclusion.

Brady, Manning, and Brees say "it is time" for the NFL lockout to be resolved.  In other news, the sky is blue, water is wet, and penalty flags are yellow.  No kidding, guys.  Of course it's time for the lockout, which began on March 11, to finally come to an end.

The NFL Players Association released a statement quoting Brady, Manning, and Brees as saying, "The overall proposal made by the players is fair for both sides and it is time to get this deal done.  This is the time of year we as players turn our attention to the game on the field.  We hope the owners feel the same way."

Of course the players are going to view their proposal as being fair for both sides and paint the picture that it's up to the owners to decide if the season starts on time or not.  The owners will view their proposal as being more than fair also.  We are very close to all of this tedious talk to finally come to an end when an agreement is reached.  Believe it or not, it will happen soon.
