For the Philadelphia Eagles, the hits just keep coming. For the New York Giants, the misses continue.

On Wednesday night, the Eagles signed former Giants wide receiver Steve Smith.

The official terms haven't been released but it's a reported one-year contract.

The Giants were interested in bringing Smith back but had a lot of concerns about his injuries and his recovery time from knee surgery last year. The Eagles’ medical staff apparently checked out Smith’s knee and then swooped in to make him the latest jewel of their off-season moves.

If everyone is healthy and ready to go, a receiving corps of Smith, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and Jason Avant would be one of the best in the NFL.
