I have NEVER been a fan of John Lackey. Partially because he spent part of his career in Boston but when the playoffs come you gotta love a guy that says "Give me the ball!" The Cardinals backs are against the wall trailing the Cubs 2-1 in the best of 5 NLDS and Lackey stepped up and asked to pitch.

Mets fans LOVE Long Island's own Steven Matz! The kid has taken the Big Apple by storm. Tonight he'll go up against the best regular season pitcher we've seen in years, Clayton Kershaw.

Kershaw has a tendency to pitch like a mere mortal in the post season...especially in the 7th inning or later. Can Matz continue his love affair with Mets fans and close out the NLDS tonight against Kershaw or is tonight the Night Kershaw pitches up to his potential in the post season AND will we see Chase Utley "The most hated man in NY" tonight?

Los Angeles Dodgers:

Clayton Kershaw (0-1 , 4.05 ERA)

New York Mets:

Steven Matz (0-0, 0.00 ERA)
