Levack texted me during the Yankees game and said, "Snow!" I thought he was messing with me as I fought Baby Munchie for the remote and watched the scene in the first inning at Detroit.

I was feeling sorry for us here in Albany with the snow and 50-ish degree weather this week. But after hearing relatives on Tuesday tell me that they had a snowstorm in Minnesota and then with big 'ole flakes raining down in Detroit on Wednesday? We all know who to blame, right?

Obama. Wait, no that's not right. Uhh ... global warming?

OK, while I'm not sure who to blame for Mother Nature (maybe just blame Mother Nature), both of the starting pitchers (Price / Warren) can take the fall for the 10 run first inning. Tack on the 87 pitches, 20 batters, seven hits and six walks? Bizarre.

And oh yeah, it snowed. Did we mention that?

Weird weather or not, the Yankees ended up chasing David Price out of the game before the 4th inning and went on to win their second game of the four-game series against one of the best teams in MLB right now.
