2012 has been a year of great goals, but Zlatan Ibrahimovic just closed the book on the race for goal of the year yesterday against England.

Having already scored a hat trick in the match, Ibrahimovic put the match away with a fourth goal, and a gem of a goal at that.

That isn't just a goal, it is a work of art. It's nearly impossible to score on a bicycle kick from right in front of the goal, let alone from such a long distance. Ibrahimovic was looking away from the goal, flipped backwards, and still delicately placed the ball into the back of the net.

And, again, it bears repeating that this was his FOURTH goal of the match.

Our hats are off to you, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. What a strike.
