Things started slow for the Orange, but once they got going they were on a roll.  They beat the un-ranked UConn Huskies 85-67.

Scoop Jardine led the Syracuse Orange with a season-high 21 points.  Jardine would also add six assists to his total on the day.   Syracuse is now 12-1 against the Big East, the one loss coming from Notre Dame.  UConn was led by Jeremy Lamb who had 18 points.

Uconn got going with a quick start, but 'Cuse was able to bounce back and collect themselves to outscore the Huskies in both periods.  Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim will be glad, because this time around his team had more rebounds with 27 total.   CJ Fair had 12 of those 27 rebounds.
