"Hopefully it won't be awful". That's just one of the comments Syracuse head football coach Dino Babers shared with Wolf and I this past week. Coach Babers was referring to what he hopes won't happen to his Syracuse football team this season. Babers enters his first season as the head coach of the Orange, following a combined eighteen wins in just seasons with Bowling Green. Babers plans on installing a fast-paced and high tempo offense this season for the Orange. The Orange will kick off their season Friday September 2nd against Colgate at home. Since entering the ACC in 2013, the Orange have had just one winning season. Babers hopes to turn the program into a conference contender but urged the fan base to be patient with the transition process. The ACC includes national championship runner up Clemson and 2014 national champion Florida State. I asked Coach Babers about the future about legendary number 44. He shared his thoughts on that and more in the above interview.
