Not the best offensive performance from #2 Syracuse, but they are able to do enough to get past #18 Louisville, a place they hadn't won in in a long time.

The last time that the Syracuse Orange beat Louisville was the 2005-06 season.  Since then, the Cardinals have had their number.  Now that has changed as #2 Syracuse beats Louisville last night 52-51.  Head coach Jim Boeheim can rest a little easier now.

It was a late run that powered Syracuse to the victory in Louisville.  Not the highest scoring affair from either side.  Fab Melo led the Orange with 11 points, CJ Fairs would add 13 to that, including the winning basket with just over two minutes left.  No one would score following that CJ Fairs' layup.

Syracuse is now 26-1 and 13-1 in the Big East.  Louisville falls to 20-6 and 8-5 in the Big East.
