Last night was a big night all around for the Syracuse men's basketball team.  They beat the Pitt Panthers 71-63, improve to 20-0 for a new school record and gave Jim Boeheim his 876th career win tying him with Adolph Rupp.

The Syracuse Orange are on their way to quite the season.  They continue to roll through their division and out side of it.  Their latest victory comes against the Pitt Panthers last night at the Carrier Dome.  They beat the Panthers 71-63.  'Cuse is now at 20-0 and 7-0 against the Big East.

Orange were led by Scoop Jardine with 12 points and 10 assists.  Fab Melo put up 10 points and  and grabbed 10 rebounds and both Brandon Triche and Kris Joseph added 12.   The Syracuse bench is performing as well.  Dion Waiters put up 17, while CJ Fair added 7.  A team effort, and they aren't done yet.

At 20-0 Syracuse remains number one in the country.  Head coach Jim Boeheim earns career win 876 with that victory last night, tying him with Adolph Rupp for number four in all time division one wins.  Next up for the Orange, the dangerous Fighting Irish of Notre Dame on Saturday.
