Syracuse’s Carrier Dome To Get $118 Million Worth of Renovations

Syracuse University announced today that the Carrier Dome (opened in 1980) will be undergoing $118 million dollars of renovations in the near future. The current facility is home to the Syracuse Orange athletic teams that include football, basketball, lacrosse and New York State football championships. According to syracuse.com the renovations will include a new:

Roof

Scoreboard

New Sound and Lighting Systems

Improved Wireless Internet

Air conditioning

Enchanced Restrooms

New concession spaces

*potential other changes may include upgrades to luxury suites and bench seating in the arena**
