The American Cancer Society is teaming up with the Utica Blue Sox to raise funds and show support for local breast cancer survivors with the Pink the Park game
The UAlbany and Siena men's basketball coaches, Dwayne Killings and Carm Maciariello, may not face each other on the court this year but they are continuing the tradition to team up for the 16th annual Coaches vs. Cancer Basket "Ball", Monday, October 4th at the Albany Capital Center. This is a tremendous evening of true community camaraderie centered around our two Division I college basketball programs. It is definitely one of the best events of its kind.

As someone who has witnessed first-hand the dreaded ills of cancer and what it can do to loved ones, I have always held the American Cancer Society as a charity near and dear to my heart. So anytime the local sporting community bans together and helps raise money for this very worthwhile cause, I am all for it and love to help spreading the word.
The Albany Devils, SEFCU and the American Cancer Society have joined forces for the on-going battle against cancer. The Devils will host “American Cancer Society Night presented by SEFCU” Saturday, March 3. The game features the Devils and Time Warner Cable Cup rival, the Adirondack Phantoms, at 5 p.m.
