Bronx Zoo

The New York Yankees' season has been filled with everything and anything on and off the field, so much so that the 1970's Bronx Zoo seems like not even a soap opera. The Boss vs. Billy with Reggie in-between and Thurman Munson and Jackson going at each other...

The Dodgers enter Yankee Stadium for a two-game set with the Yanks.  The storylines with this mini-series are endless.  The 1950's World Series battles when both clubs were in New York, Don Mattingly returning to the Bronx and a kid named Yasiel Puig.  Here is a series preview:

Andy Pettitte is back and while it's a feel good story for a good guy it is the wrong move for the Yankees. The Yanks never learn and when I hear they "have" to reduce their payroll on orders from Hal Steinbrenner I laugh. The 2 are tied together...

Forget this stuff about the Yankess playing in the Bronx Zoo or being dysfunctional. The dysfuction and zoo like atmosphere has moved to Beantown. The Red Sox are a calamity a day! Somewhere George Steinbrenner is probably jealous, or perhaps he is getting a chuckle out of the Boston mess...
