Defensive end Aaron Maybin was a colossal bust with the Buffalo Bills.  After getting released by Buffalo, the former first-round pick is expected to sign with the New York Jets today.

You can put an end to the Tom Coughlin speculation.  The Giants head coach will remain in that position until at least 2012. Today, the club announced that they have given Coughlin a 1-year contract extention.  He was already signed thru the 2011 campaign.

Carson Palmer says he'd rather retire than another game with Cincinnati.  Palmer said he has $80 million in the bank and that he will never suit up for the Bengals ever again. This is insane.

Now that the New Jersey Nets have backed out of the Carmelo Anthony sweepstakes (would you go to New Jersey?), the Knicks need to do whatever it takes to get the Nuggets All-Star. Anything!
