Boston Bombing Updates – Unclear if Suspect Arrested

This will be the last update of this article this afternoon. There is a press conference with the FBI at 5P, after which we'll publish a new article recapping the details. What we do know as fact is that the FBI and has made "significant progress" in this investigation.

AP just tweeted that "Federal officials deny that Boston Marathon bombing suspect is in custody." - however AP has NOT retracted that their source confirms so.

UPDATE @2:21: This is helicopter footage of the Federal Courthouse in that is from Twitter - AP and CNN are reporting that the suspect has been brought here. However, someone can be taken into custody without there being an arrest. No officials have made a statement regarding a suspect in custody and we are reporting based on information from CNN and the Associated Press.
UPDATE @ 2:06 PM: The AP reports that Federal Marshals have a suspect in custody and are brining him to a Federal Courthouse:

According to reports on major national media, CNN has broken the story that the FBI has obtained clear footage of a suspect in the Boston bombings. The footage originated from a department story surveillance camera and was used to locate other footage that included images of the suspect from a Boston TV station.
Summary of New York State Police Statement on Herkimer Shooting
New York State police held a press conference earlier today (3/14) regarding the death of a shooting suspect in Herkimer. The suspect had shot six and killed four on 3/13 at two different locations. Police had him cornered overnight and opened fire on him when he shot and killed an FBI K9 Officer.

State Police have shot and killed Kurt Myers, the suspect in shootings that killed four people and injured two others in Herkimer and Mohawk, New York.
Shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday, State Police, FBI and a K-9 unit entered the former Glory Days bar in Herkimer where Myers had been in hiding for nearly 16 hours and had at times exchanged fire with police.

Report: Suspect Arrested in Mass [UPDATE]
UPDATE @ 10:20 PM - FOX 25 in Boston is reporting that Matthew Slocum, a suspect in a triple homicide, house fire, and the reason for a multi-state AMBER alert has been arrested. The television station is reporting that his girlfriend and four month old baby are safe.
UPDATE @ 4P - local media erroneously reported this had been canceled - it is still active.
The Washington County Sheriff's Department has activated the NY AMBER Alert system and has confirmed a child has been abducted from a home on Turnpike Road in White Creek around 4AM this morning.
