Diary of a Giants Fan: Bye Week Review and Potential Prop Bets

…And on the seventh , rested.  This Sunday’s NFL landscape will feature no Giants triumph, no crushing loss, just a week of rest for the men of Big Blue.  They’ve entered the bye week at 4-2 and atop their division.  During this week off I offer you some reflective comments and some fun over/under prop bets…that I’ve just thought up.

Diary of a Giants Fan: Giants Earn Win Over Bills – Grades

Seeking atonement for their sinful loss to Seattle in week five the Giants took to the field against the surprising 4-1 Buffalo Bills.  Indeed, it was atonement they would find as Eli Manning would lead his team to a gutsy and impressive 27-24 win.  Redemption!  Thy Name is Giants!

Diary of a Giants Fan: Giants – Bills Preview

Admittedly folks, I'm still getting over the Seahawks game - even though I kind of saw it coming. I mean, how do you lose to that complete dumpster fire of an organization?  But I come to you today with a renewed sense of defiance.  Why?  Because the 4-1 Buffalo Bills invade the Swamps of Jersey this week, and isn't this the type of game the Giants just get up for?  Follow me on Twitter @JoeBianchino.

Diary of a Giants Fan: Giants – Seahawks Preview

Escaped with.  Gutsy.  Lucked out. Gallant.  All of these words are ones that you can put before "win" in describing the Giants' (insert adjective) win last week in Arizona. Well if all goes according to plan this Sunday in the ever homely swamps of Jersey only one world should be necessary to describe this victory.  "Easy."  But when has anything ever been easy with this team?

Diary of a Giants Fan: Giants Escape Arizona With Win – Grades

Well. That was...interesting.  The Giants took the field Sunday looking to back up an emotional win against Philly with another against Arizona.  In what was the absolute definition of a roller coaster game the Giants took a gift from the Gods and found a way to snap victory away from the jaws of defeat.  This is Diary of a Giants Fan - @JoeBianchino

Diary of a Giants Fan: Cardinals – Giants Preview

Well Giants fandome, the G-men are 2-1 after a surprising win in Philly last week. Sunday they'll travel to the desert to take on the rather low-flying Arizona Cardinals. The Cards come into the game 1-2 after a "You've got to be kidding me" loss to the Seattle Seahawks and their should-be CFL quarterback Tarvaris Jackson. At first glance it seems the G-men should win easily. Not so fast my friends. Not so fast.

Diary of a Giants Fan: Giants Shock Eagles

What in God's name just happened?!  Outgunned, outmatched but never outworked the G-men rolled into Philly, knocked Michael Vick around, made some very un-Giant like offensive plays and escaped with a huge, gutsy win.  The New York, G-MEN!

Diary of a Giants Fan: Domenik Hixon Out For the Year

Giants fans, stop me if you've heard this before: The Giants have lost a player for the season.  This week's edition is perennial "Who just made that play?!" receiver Domenik Hixon.  The Giants announced today that while making that "he just did what?!" touchdown grab Monday night, Hixon tore his ACL...again.  Sigh.

Diary of a Giants Fan: Giants Win an Ugly One – Grades

It was an ugly, ugly, brutally ugly game in the Meadowlands Monday night.  And not that great old time, bruising, smashmouth type of ugly typified by the '86 Giants, who's Super Bowl win was celebrated at half time.  This was just good old fashioned sloppy ball.  But hey, they got the win.  So who cares what it looked like?

Diary of a Giants Fan: Week 2 Preview

Well Giants faithful, let’s just be honest.  Last week was awful.  Sunday’s loss was a masterpiece of mediocrity, if mediocrity isn’t overselling it.  But we know this, it’s been covered…agonizingly. So let’s turn away from that debacle and look forward.  How will the Giants fair under the bright lights of Monday Night Football versus the upstart Rams?  This is your Diary of a Giants Fan week two preview...electric boogaloo.
