Rainy conditions forced the Giants to practice on the UAlbany turf lacrosse field today, which limited the teams space, but provided an upgraded viewing experience for the fans. After practice Coughlin wasn’t too upset about the predicament, saying, “we did the best we could with one field.” I was roaming the sidelines throughout the entire session; here is a summary of my notes.
For the first time in 16 years, the New York Giants will not be holding their training camp at UAlbany.
Due to the ongoing labor concerns, they will conduct this year’s camp at their permanent home at the Timex Performance Center at the Meadowlands facility in New Jersey.
The NFL lockout is now in its 55th day and the reality of having no football this fall is starting to sink in.
