Since Jason Collins claimed in his Sports Illustrated piece that he is happy to start the conversation about gays in the locker room and that sort, I am happy to chime in. Of course conversations usually mean you can ask questions, unless of course you are part of the "intolerant-tolerant" community...

The news broke earlier today about Gregg Williams being reinstated by the NFL and joining the Tennessee Titans coaching staff. He was the lead suspect in the Bountygate case and missed the entire 2012 NFL season with his suspension. The Bountygate situation only strengthened the discussion about the concussion problem in the NFL, which leads to this question: what is the biggest problem in America

Over the last few years, over 4,000 former NFL players have filed lawsuits against the NFL for the impact of concussions on their post-career health. There is also a story that came out today about how a precedent may have already been set for the NFL paying off former players for having health issues stemming from concussions during their playing days...

Let me see if I have this correct. Several ex-NFL players are suing the league because of concussions? This to me is like a fireman suing cause they have to face heat and smoke. Isn't this part of the territory former players? I don't mean to sound un-sympathetic towards the former players and I feel for their health issues but don't you accept certain risks with any profession...
