For the third time in his career, Lebron James of the Miami Heat takes MVP honors.  The award was handed out Saturday afternoon.

There is no doubt that Lebron James is one of the best players in the NBA. Some would even argue that he's currently the best.  He takes play of the week honors this week for his terrific alley-oop dunk delivered by none other than Dwyane Wade.

The Miami Heat are making headlines, and it has nothing to do with basketball.  It has to do with the seemingly racially charged shooting of Florida teen Trayvon Martin, their outrage, and their willingness to accept the leader/role model position that society so often tries to thrust upon them. @JoeBianchino

Can you actually choke in an NBA All-Star Game?  Absolutely.  LeBron James has to do a better job of not shrinking when the game is on the line.

Costly turnovers and just generally being outplayed was the story for the New York Knicks last night.  The Heat get the best of them, 102-88.
