The NFL reduced it's team salary cap 8% from $198.2 million in 2020 to to $182.5 million for the upcoming 2021 season. This means teams will need to make some tough decisions to get under the cap. The New York Giants made a big cut today and when I say big I mean 330 pounds of offensive lineman. Kevin Zietler is no longer a member of the Giants and neither is the $12 million they save by releasing the big man. ESPN New York Giants insider Jordan Ranaan broke the story and has more moves he thinks the Giants will need to make to get under the cap and field a team.
