UAlbany head basketball coach Will Brown has done a number of good things in the Albany community in his 12 year tenure as the head coach of the Great Danes, including work with a number of charitable organizations. He has extended that charitable spirit to this weekend's America East basketball tournament, as he has purchased 400 student tickets to Saturday's quarterfinal game against Maine.

Maine Women's Basketball Game With Boston University Postponed Wednesday After Bus Accident

After a bus accident last night involving Maine's women's basketball team, the team's scheduled America East conference game tonight against Boston University has been postponed.

The accident was a result of the team's bus driver, who was not identified, suffering from some sort of medical condition and passing out, according to Athletic Director Steve Abbott, resulting in the bus crossing the median into oncoming traffic before stopping on the shoulder, miraculously not striking any cars in the process

Near disaster was avoided Tuesday night when a bus carrying the Womens Maine University Black Bears to a game against Boston University crashed 30 miles outside Boston. The reason for the accident is being investigated however it is thought that the bus driver suffered some sort of medical issue
