It hasn't been a stellar season so far for the Albany Devils and there hasn't been a season for the New Jersey Devils but their young star Adam Henrique has been getting playing time with the AHL club. Now he is sidelined. Henrique damaged a ligament in his thumb and will have a procedure on the ulnar collateral ligament later today...

The fireworks are going off-In Minnesota this 4th of July as the Minnesota Wild go on a spending spree they hope will get them back to the playoffs. The New Jersey Devils have had a very tough time getting any publicity during their Stanley Cup playoff run, because, quite frankly, they're from New Jersey. However, when there is breaking news, we at 104.5 The Team refuse to ignore it, no matter how irrelevant a franchise may be. Especially when there are very large breasts involved.

Heading into game four of the Stanley Cup finals the New Jersey Devils looked to be dead in the water.  Apparently they decided not to roll over, because they stay alive to beat the Kings 3-1.

Well this season ended with a low thud. Not a loud thud as many a Rangers season has since last winning the Cup in 1993/94. Many of those seasons were marred by not even making the playoffs. Now that's a loud thud. However when you finish 2nd in points, almost win the Presidents Cup, struggle to beat the 8th and 7th seed and then succumbing to the 6th seed, and that 6th seed happens to be  the hat

Down 3-2.  On the road.  Losers of two straight.  Outplayed in large sections of all five games played so far this series...Well, that seems pretty bleak.  But stand defiant Ranger fans - this team will.

Alright, Ranger fans.  Monday night sucked.  Our Blueshirts were flat-out beaten in game four.  But honestly, it may have been a good thing. @JoeBianchino

Following a game three elbow that caught the head of Devil defensemen Anton Volchenkov, the NHL has suspended Brandon Prust for one game.  Now the Rangers will have to try and take control of this series - which they lead two games to one - without an emotional leader and one of their best penalty killers. @JoeBianchino

Once again, the NHL has failed to comprehend the finer points of marketing and promoting itself, but no matter - the Rangers will be ready.

New York Rangers head coach John Tortorella continues to be ice cold with the media.  Watching a movie with the sound off while blindfolded is more productive than observing Tortorella's press conferences.
