Alexander Galimov was the last surviving member of the Lokomotiv KHL hockey team that was wiped out by a plane crash last week.

Albany Devils Defenseman Alexander Vasyunov, NHL Players Among 43 Killed In Plane Crash in Russia [UPDATED]

A plane carrying the Lokomotiv hockey team of the KHL crashed today just outside of Moscow killing all but two of the passengers. Albany Devils prospect Alexander Vasyunov was among the dead. He played in 50 games for Albany (AHL) last season and had eight goals, 17 assists and 25 points.
