Novak Djokovic Wins Wimbledon Championship

Novak Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal on Sunday to earn his first ever Wimbledon men's singles championship. He defeated Nadal in four sets going 6-4,6-1,1-6,6-3. This was Djokovic's fifth straight head-to-head victory over Nadal. The Wimbledon victory propels Djokovic to #1 in the world men's tennis rankings.
