As Derek Jeter continues in his final season as a Yankee, we’ll be giving away tickets to a Yankees game every Friday in the month of July!

40 years ago today in a small township in New Jersey one of the best Yankees of all time was born. Derek Jeter turns 40 today which means about half of his life he has been a New York Yankee. I just wanted to take a moment to thank "The Captain" for being all that I love about baseball!

When Derek Jeter announced he was going to retire after this season, baseball die hards immediately sprung into action for a chance to see one of the greatest baseball players ever just one more time. The Los Angeles Angels will honor Derek Jeter tonight before the third and final game of the three-games series against the Yankees in Anaheim. The Yankees radio network released on Wednesday afternoon that the pre-game ceremonies would take 15-20 minutes.
