The Watervliet boys and girls basketball programs took the spotlight earning top seeds at Wednesday's Section II Basketball Tournament pairings meeting at Saratoga Springs. Watervliet is the Class B top seed for the boys and will host the Corinth/Ichabod Crane winner on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 7:30 p.m.

It was Super Saturday in Section II wrestling as five classes went to the mats. In Division I, Class I (Class A) at Colonie, Shenendehowa had a great showing with nine wrestlers taking championships en route to scoring 314 points for the team title championship.
The Shenendehowa High School wrestling team keeps rolling along. On Wednesday night, Shen defeated Columbia, 50-24, to capture the Suburban Council championship with an 8-0 record and put together its seventh straight unbeaten title.
