Broncos corner Aqib Talib was shot in the leg early Sunday morning at a club in Dallas, Texas. The wound isn't considered serious and Talib did not require surgery on his lower right leg injury.

Talib will most definitely miss minicamp on Tuesday, but is expected to be ready for pre-season preparations.

This is Talib's third run-in with the law in Dallas over the past six years. In 2011, Talib allegedly pistol-whipped and shot at his sister's boyfriend, while in 2015 he was questioned for aggravated assault at a Dallas night club. In both cases charges were dropped.

In 2009, Talib was charged with battery after assaulting a cab driver. He was suspended only 1 game for the 2010 NFL season.

This incident obviously brings back memories of former Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress who shot himself in the leg as he carried a gun in his pocket at a New York club.

How an injury like this might affect him on the field is yet to be seen, but it's hard to believe there may not be any physical issues from this injury.
