TBS Misspells Willie Mays’ Name On Graphic

TBS has drawn a lot of criticism for its Major League Baseball postseason coverage, with much of it centering around their play by play abilities, or lack thereof. We will let that slide, because being an engaging baseball play by play guy is really difficult given the often stagnant nature of the sport. However, their latest gaffe is unforgivable.

Yup, that's TBS misspelling Willie Mays in a graphic shown during last night's Yankees/Tigers game. It's not as if Mays is one of the all time greats of the sport or anything, so it's not a big deal that they got his name wrong. Maybe tomorrow they will show one paying tribute to the great Barry Bands or Babe Roth.
