The New York Yankees got their second win of the season Thursday night against the Houston Astros as they overcome the devastating opening day series loss to take the 3-game series 2-1.

Last night's 8-5 win, was an impressive late game comeback by the Yankees as they totaled three home runs, capped off by Mark Teixeira's 3-run shot in the 7th inning to take the eventual 8-5 lead. Catcher Brian McCann and 2B Starlin Castro each had a solo home run of their own to add to the Yankees offense, while Alex Rodriguez had his first two hits of the season and drove in Jacoby Ellsbury to tie the game at five.

This Yankees team has now scored 24 runs in the last two games and the offense seems to be clicking.

The Yankees now go on a 6-game road trip as they play both the Detroit Tigers and Toronto Blue Jays before returning home.
