Texas PF Myles Turner was drafted by the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers have been trying to package a deal to ship out big man Roy Hibbert.

The 19-year-old Turner is 6’11, 239 lbs and has a 7’4 wingspan. He nailed the interview process as one GM said "He's a highly intelligent, thoughtful guy." There are still some injury concerns as some NBA scouts are convinced that the awkward way he runs is either masking a hidden injury or will lead to one. He's been compared to LaMarcus Aldridge who also went to the University of Texas. He is seen as a player with raw talent who, give a couple years, could be a heavy impact player in the NBA.

Turner played one season at Texas and averaged 10.1 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 2.6 BPG. After becoming a McDonald’s All-American in 2014, a year later he earned the title of Big 12 Freshman of the year, and was Third-team All-Big 12.
