After UAlbany’s dominating win at Syracuse, the job of head coach Scott Marr will be keeping his team grounded.  When you beat a national power like Syracuse 15-3, the rest of the schedule outside of Maryland and Yale might look like cake walk. We know that won’t be the case, and so does coach Marr. The Great Danes host Drexel on Saturday, and we will find out very quickly if there is any kind of a let-down after Saturday’s impressive win at the Carrier Dome.

After a five-goal performance on Saturday, Freshman Tehoka Nanticoke was named America East Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week. Nanticoke's five points is the most for a freshman debut since Connor Fields had three goals and three assist in 2015. No matter how high this team's ceiling is, they are going to need to keep cool heads to make the most out of the season.

You can hear head coach Scott Marr every Monday morning throughout the season on Big Board Sports on 104.5 the team.
