Louisville Wide Receiver Devante Parker has been drafted by the New York Jets rivals, Miami Dolphins at No.14

Parker stands 6’3 and ran a 4.43 40-yard-dash. He had an outstanding junior season as Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater’s favorite target. He caught 55 balls for 885 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2013, and despite missing half the season in 2014, put up a stat line of 43 catches 855 yards and five touchdowns. He was voted onto the second-team All-ACC by a coach’s poll.

Parker excels when the ball is in the air. He has reliable hands. He has only dropped three balls since 2012, and plays extremely well when being closely guarded by a cornerback. He also has impressive run-after-the-catch ability. He has the ceiling of being a #1 WR in a West Coast offense.

The 2015 NFL Draft this year was held in Chicago, Illinois. It's the first time that the event was not at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The new environment brought the majority of the first round draft picks, but not the top two, Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston.
