The New York Jets, Fathers Day, And A Great Cause

If you are a  Jets fan you can meet  Road Grader Fullback John Conner this coming weekend.

Conner, as tough as they come will be appearing in the Capital Region this coming weekend and proceeds from 2 events will help out childrens charities of the Capital Region.

The events are this coming Saturday, June 16th. It starts out with an autograph session from 1pm till 4pm at the Holiday Inn on Wolf Road. The cost for autographs are 25 dollars.

If you can't make the autograph session there will be a VIP dinner that evening from 6pm until 8pm. The dinner will include beverages, A carving station, a pasta station and much more. The cost for this night of fun is 150.00 per ticket. Only 100 tickets will be offered to keep the group small and intimate. The proceeds for the events will go to the First and Goal Foundation which supports childrens charities throughout the Capital Region.

Conner was a 5th round pick from Kentucky in the 2010 draft. Considered 1 of the top blocking backs and fullbacks Conner has done a real nice job with the Jets and is a big piece as the Jets according to Rex Ryan will return to their ground and pound ways.

Nicknamed the Terminator, Conner is the 1st Jet to appear for such an event in the Capital Region in almost 11 years.
