The New York Jets have officially decided to attend NFL free agency on Friday. After releasing a number of players over the past few weeks, the Jets made a key addition to a weak point on their squad.

On Friday evening, the Jets signed OT Kelvin Beachum to a 3-year/$24M deal with $12 million guaranteed. Beachum can fill the need left by Ryan Clady after the Jets decided not to renew his contract.

Beachum has played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for the majority of his young career, but was a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars last season. Before signing with the Jets, Beachum was one of the most sought after offensive tackle's on the market.

As you may remember, Beachum has been a guest on 104.5 The TEAM before as he joined us from radio row a few times the last few Super Bowl's.

The big question now for Beachum is, who will he be blocking for? The Jets are still scouting the market for a possible signal caller.
