Kentucky OLB Alvin “Bud” Dupree was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers have a long history of drafting linebackers in the 1st round, and hope that Dupree can join the likes of Lawrence Timmons, and Jarvis Jones

Bud Dupree was a team captain for the Wildcats, and posted 23.5 sacks for his career, which was the most among active SEC players.

Standing at 6’4, 265lbs, Dupree is a freakish athlete with a basketball background. His strengths include durability, athleticism, and maturity. Dupree will excel as a pass-rushing 3-4 edge rusher.

NFL scouts believe his ceiling and floor will depend on how his defensive coordinator utilizes him, but the raw talent and will to win make him a top prospect.

The 2015 NFL Draft this year was held in Chicago, Illinois. It's the first time that the event was not at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The new environment brought the majority of the first round draft picks, but not the top two, Marcus Mariota and Jameis Winston.
