Never has bowling been so fast. Or exciting.

Ben Ketola, 23, of Preble, N.Y., etched rolled his name in the record books by bowling a perfect game in 86.9 seconds at an alley in Cortland, N.Y. earlier this month -- that's reportedly the fastest time ever to bowl a 300.

He tops the old mark of one minute, 50.99 seconds. So, it's safe to say he did it with time to "spare." Sorry, but we couldn't resist.

Ketola, who averages a healthy 225 score, pulled off the fast forward feat at the alley where he works by zipping from one lane to the next, recording strikes each of the 12 times he faced a set of pins, knocking them down with the ease of an adult staring down a Fisher-Price preschool set.

It was fun to do. I honestly wasn't expecting to do it. I just wanted to see how quickly I could get across the house and get strikes."

Perhaps even more remarkable than the fact Ketola managed to roll the perfect game is the fact he did it in only his fourth attempt. That's bound to happen when you bowl 50 games a week, like he does.
