1971 — The New York Mets traded future Hall of Fame pitcher Nolan Ryan, outfielder Leroy Stanton, pitcher Don Rose and catcher Francisco Estrada to the California Angels for six-time American League All-Star shortstop Jim Fregosi. (More info.)
