New York Rangers goalkeeper Henrik Lundqvist stars in yet another ESPN SportsCenter commercial.  Which one is better?

ESPN has decided to use New York Rangers goalkeeper Henrik Lundqvist in another SportsCenter ad.  Is ESPN aware that nobody watches hockey anymore?  Kidding, kidding.  Lundqvist starred in a commercial with The Muppets character, the Swedish Chef.  The previous ad is posted below.

Lundqvist is seen in this latest ad with ESPN SportsCenter anchors Kevin Negandhi, Lindsay Czarniak, and John Buccigross.  By the way, you could enter each last name in a spelling bee for cryin out loud.  Holy cow, that’s a collection of some really tough names.  Anyway, the premise for this commercial is Lundqvist sporting full hockey gear on casual Friday.

This latest commercial is decent, but you have to give the nod to the previous ad.  A commercial with a cameo by the Swedish Chef gets the win based on principle.  I’m curious which commercial Joe Bianchino (co-host of “Cover 2” Sundays at 11am on 104.5 The Team) prefers.  He’s probably just giddy that Lundqvist is in another ad.  Click here to see what I mean.
