Three players with ties to the Capital Region signed NFL contracts at the conclusion of the NFL Draft.

While none of the three were drafted, all three will have the opportunity to compete for a spot on an NFL roster.

RPI Kicker Andrew Franks was signed by the Miami Dolphins while UAlbany tight end Brian Parker signed with the Chargers. Chatham native and Boston College linebacker Josh Keyes signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Franks was the two-time Liberty League Special Teams Player of the Year and a Division III All-American this year.

Parker was a third team all-CAA selection this year. He finished his career with 1,006 receiving yards and nine touchdowns. He had 500 yards receiving this year.

Keyes was a third-team all-ACC selection this year after finishing third on Boston College with 63 tackles. He led the Eagles with 11.5 tackles for loss.

Congratulations to all three players and keep representing the Capital Region!
