You know what they say: when opportunity presents itself, you’ve got to take advantage of it. Well, for Tide and their team of advertisers, that opportunity came in the form of an epic inferno of a car crash.

In case you missed it, the Daytona 500 featured a 2 hour rain delay after Juan Pablo Montoya crashed into a truck filled with jet fuel. Fortunately, no one was injured, but the wreck did create quite a mess. And what did NASCAR use to clean that mess up? You guessed it, Tide detergent. Never one to miss a chance to gain some exposure, Tide has now released a new commercial based around the event.
